The reshuffling of the cabinet by CM Conrad Sangma

Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma assigned portfolios to the two recently sworn-in Ministers while additionally making changes in the divisions held by different individuals from his Cabinet. Following the reshuffle on Thursday, the Chief Minister has kept five divisions with himself, including Finance, Planning, Home (political), Cabinet Affairs, and Personnel and AR. Vice president Minister Prestone Tynsong was given Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. He will keep on holding the charge of the PWD (Roads) and the other five offices. 

 

The charge of the Urban Affairs and Municipal Administration office was given to Sniawbhalang Dhar. Hamletson Dohling will presently care for the Departments of Community and Rural Development and furthermore Soil and Water Conservation. Dhar will keep on being accountable for Commerce and Industries and Transport. 

 

The swearing-in service of the new Ministers – Dasakhiat Lamare and Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar — was held at the Raj Bhawan on Thursday.
