Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday said the state government would soon long start converses with Assam to determine the border dispute with the neighbouring state. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a gathering of Chief Ministers in 2019 had alluded to many between state limit debates including court suit and encouraged to illuminate the issue commonly.
Reacting to an inquiry brought up in the assembly during question hour by BJP part Tana Hali Tara, Khandu said that Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Guwahati had likewise rehashed a similar solicitation and the state government would soon long start converses with Assam to determine the decades-old imbroglio through talks.
"The state government had sent a letter to Assam government in 2019 yet no reaction has been gotten," the CM stated, including that the cycle would be quickened with the BJP controlling in Arunachal and Assam, both being excellent neighbours.
