Police Officer Sentenced to Jail in Assam for Taking Bribe

Former Police-in-charge for Government Railway Police (GRP) Guwahati, Sisir Bhatta and Constable Dinesh Upadhai was granted four years of thorough detainment on a defilement case led five years prior. 

 

Case Started in 2015:

 

Both the authorities were captured in 2015 by authorities of Vigilance and Anti-debasement for requesting and taking kickbacks adding up to Rs. 7000. 

 

A case was enlisted under ACB police headquarters case no. 6/15.

One Constable Released:
