New Indoor Stadium in Mizoram to Develop Sports

Mizoram Deputy Chief Minister Tawnluia on January 7 established the framework stone of Aizawl Indoor Stadium at Republic Vengthlang. 


Funding by Union Ministry:


The Union ministry of youth affairs and sports funded the task under the Khelo India scheme. 


Total Cost:


The undertaking is supposed to be developed at Rs 763.45 lakh. In any case, Rs. 450 lakh has been authorized for the venture up until this point.

World-Class Facilities:


The arena will be developed according to global norms with the goal that it could have national-level competitions, Mizoram Sports Minister, Robert Romawia Royte said. 


The arena will be furnished with a 242 limit exhibition, player room, four latrines, an authority room, clinical room, and so forth 


The ground floor will have a market shed, security lodge and parking garage for both four-wheelers and bikes.
