In his recent statement, Law and Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath suggested that BJP is likely to be joined by the' royal family leader' along with' his followers.'
Ratan Lal Nath said a number of leading opposition figures have expressed interest in joining BJP, including a royal family member along with his supporters, according to reports. Nath did not mention a name, however, but dropped enough hint about the person.
Meanwhile, the royal scion of Tripura, Pradyot Debbarman, expressed shock at Nath's claims that royal family members could have clarified that neither he nor any member of his family had said this, commenting on Nath's indication, “I think Mr. Ratan Lal Nath must be taking about some other Royal Family because as far as I know no one from the Royal family of Tripura is joining BJP. It is a same old tactics of Congress party which Mr. NATH is using to mislead the Indigenous people of Tripura before TTADC elections. He must be concerned about his own departments. As far as I am concern I am not joining BJP and I have not even met Mr. NATH after his son’s wedding for which he had invited me”.
Debbarman said the state government is currently mulling to de-reserve some of the positions of the ST College Teacher. The state government is now working to find a sufficient number of qualified college teachers for the Schedule Tribes vacancies of college teachers.
He also added that at school level, there is a shortage of teachers. The state government are also calling upon TET candidates to base themselves strongly in English which will help them in recruitment exams.
