The request is a piece of the Bairabi-Sairang new expansive check rail line, being actualized by the Indian Railways as a portion of its arrangements to improve its organization over North-East India. This rail line targets giving a lift to the rail availability in the area, as it will interface Mizoram to the Indian Railways network up to Bairabi railroad station in the state.
