Assam finance and health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today reported that 17 lakh families over the state will be given an aggregate of Rs. 830 every month under the scheme name Arunoday plan of the State Government. The fund serves likewise expressed that quickly, from October 2 onwards, around 17 lakh recipient families will be given Rs 830 every month. "This will be given in the financial balances of the families", the Minister expressed, including that this sum will be dispensed until the family turns out to be 'monetarily autonomous.'
Giving the separation of this sum, Sarma expressed that Rs. 300 will be given for medicine, Rs. 80 for sugar, Rs. 200 for dal, and Rs. 150 for natural products/vegetables. The Government will likewise attempt to meet the 'uncommon necessities' of the families, for example, education charges and celebration use.
