Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi will likely meet Uttar Pradesh chief secretary and director general of police on Friday for assessing the law and order arrangement before delivering the verdict on the Ayodhya land dispute case.
The judgment of the decades-long case is likely to be pronounced next week.
The CJI will speak with UP chief secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari and DGP Om Prakash Singh in his chamber before giving his judgment.
The Ayodhya land dispute case judgment was reserved on October 16 after 40 days of consultation.
On November 17, CJI Ranjan Gogoi will retire and it is likely that he will render the decision before that.
