CAA into Frame Again:
Shah's visit to Assam comes in the midst of the counter Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) fights being held in various pieces of Assam. Different associations, including Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), All Assam Students' Union (AASU), and Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti (CMSS) have been coordinating state-wide fights against CAA.
A year ago on December 11, notwithstanding the far and wide fights in the state just as the nation, CAA was passed in the Parliament by the Center. During that enemy of CAA fights, five people of the state lost their lives.
Congress Leaders to Join:
