Irrfan khan(born-7Jan,1967 died-29April,2020)
Irrfan was an actor per excellence who had created a niche for himself both in Bollywood and in Hollywood movies.He could emote his feelings in the silver screen simply through his eyes as he was in ease with any role he plays whether as a villain or any other supporting character.He was comfortable with any role that was offered to him as the screenplay was the most important aspect for the choice of movies he did in his eventful career.
He made his debut in the academy nominated movie Salaam Bombay in 1988 followed by a string of movies in negative roles. He hit the bull`s eyes with Anurag Basu in the movie Life in a….. Metro in 2007. There was no turning back after that as he churned out gem of movies like Paan Singh Tomar(2011,National Film Award), The Lunchbox(2013), Haider(2014),Piku(2015) and Madari(2016).He hit the jackpot in the movie Hindi Medium(2016) which was a massive box-office success and critically acclaimed well received both in India and China.
He made his mark in the international field with movies like The Namesake(2006), Slumdog Millionaire(2008), The Amazing Spiderman(2012), Jurassic World(2015) and Inferno(2016). His biggest movie was Life of Pi in the year 2012.
He was battling a neuroendocrine tumor since 2018 undergoing chemotherapy and was admitted in a hospital for colon infection.His untimely demise at such a young age of 53 will leave behind a vacuum in the field of world cinema. He leaves behind a legacy of his own and will be mourned by all wishing you a happy afterlife.
