At the Khelo India Youth Games in Guwahati, Gangutri Bordoloi won gold for Assam in 60 kilometers cycling. Bordoloi who comes from Assam district of Nagaon won the state's second gold.
Assam's Pooja Basumatary won gold in Girl'sUnder-17, in judo category 57 kg. She bagged up the state's first gold medal.
Upasha Talukdar won two more medals, including one silver for Assam.
On Friday, she won a bronze.
Upasha stood second in the U-17 Rhythmic Gymnastics (ball) event while won a bronze medal in the Rhythmic Gymnastics (Rope) category.
Around 6,800 athletes are expected to participate in the third edition of the Khelo India Youth Games. The athletes will take part in a total of 20 sports with lawn ball and cycling being new additions to the Games. The opening ceremony took place at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati
