Nagaland hosted the first-ever PUBG Mobile Tournament which included gamers from the state and neighboring states of Northeast India.
The event was organized by Life Now Events with over hundreds of gamers participating in the competition including players from Shillong and Diphu.
Life Now Events director Atsung Jamir, expressing happiness over the event said “It has a wide scope now. So instead of fighting it, if there can be one-two gamers from here who can seriously go further, we wanted to give them the platform considering that there are many good gamers from Nagaland.”
The main aim of the tournament was to create awareness on employment avenues in mobile gaming.
The participants were divided into 25 squads where team RGC hailed as the champion and won prize money of Rs. 80,000 while team Bobo and WELP emerged as the first and second runners-up respectively.
