Tripura government will introduce a new system for students who will crack national level exams.
The ' Super 30 ' scheme will start from the academic year 2010-21.
Minister of Education Ratan Lal Nath told about this scheme and said that Tripura students will crack entries at national level to study at renowned colleges in the country after completing the higher secondary examination.
According to Nath, each year the students who passed the Madhyamik exam and are admitted to the science stream in Class XI will benefit from the' Super 30' scheme.
The chosen 30 applicants will have the opportunity to take out - of-state coaching as they choose to be admitted to prestigious country institutes like IIT, IIIT, MBBS and other courses for two years.
Each chosen candidate will earn Rs 2.40 lakh per year under the scheme.
In the first year, it would cost Rs 72 lakh and then Rs 1.44 crore each year.
Nath said that according to their merit, the 30 students will be picked.
It is noteworthy that the current government of the State has also launched a scheme for aspirants who want to crack IPS, IAS or similar examination and have begun scholarship for them.
Minister of Education told that the "Super 30" scheme was approved by the state cabinet.
