The Kubota/Kverneland Group has signed an agreement to acquire 80% of the shares in ROC Company, a manufacturer of belt rakes based in Italy.

Shingo Hanada (President and CEO of the Kverneland Group) wants to further strengthen the Kubota Group in the field of hay and forage harvesting by adding the important product line of belt rakes and creating synergies between the companies. The ROC brand and its distribution will remain in place.

The two current owners of ROC Company, Denis Ubaldi and Raffaele Ubaldi, will retain their important roles in the company after the takeover. They emphasize the enormous synergies, the global presence of Kverneland and their product development as well as the production and digitization of farming systems and solutions.

The Ubaldi brothers believe this deal will further strengthen ROC and its ability to grow and provide attractive products, solutions and support to its channel partners and customers. (Image source: press photo)
