Brahmaputra Beach Festival is a two-day open-air festival that takes place on Brahmaputra river beaches. The festival celebrates Assam's heritage and neighboring states. The beach hosts cultural events that include song and dance. The festival is organized in cooperation with Assam Tourism Development Corporation by the Assam Boat Racing and Rowing Association. The festival includes various activities such as beach cricket, beach volleyball, water rafting, windsurfing, ice skating, kayaking, canoeing, dirt biking and all-terrain vehicle riding along with aero sports such as ballooning, paragliding, and gliding, etc. A modern craft show is also part of the festival.
